Welcome to SD Skateboarding (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website [yourwebsite.com], booking of lessons, camps, and events, and any related services. By accessing our website or participating in our programs, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.
1. Services Offered
SD Skateboarding provides skateboarding lessons, camps, events, and merchandise sales. All services are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to modify or discontinue any offering at our discretion.
2. User Eligibility
To use our services, you must:
✔ Be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent if under 18.
✔ Provide accurate and complete registration details.
✔ Agree to our Liability Waiver before participating in any physical activities.
3. Booking & Payments
A. Lesson & Camp Reservations
✔ Booking is required in advance for all lessons and camps.
✔ Payment must be completed before participation.
✔ SD Skateboarding reserves the right to cancel bookings if payment is not received.
B. Refund & Cancellation Policy
✔ Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the session start time are eligible for a full refund.
✔ Cancellations made within 48 hours of the session start time are non-refundable.
✔ No-shows will not receive refunds or credits.
✔ In the event of weather-related cancellations, SD Skateboarding will offer rescheduled dates or credits.
4. Code of Conduct
All participants and visitors must:
✔ Follow instructor guidelines and skatepark rules.
✔ Respect fellow skaters and staff.
✔ Wear required safety gear (helmet, knee and elbow pads).
✔ Refrain from disruptive behavior, including but not limited to bullying, harassment, or unsafe conduct.
Failure to comply may result in removal from the program without a refund.
5. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver
✔ Skateboarding is an inherently risky activity. By participating in our programs, you acknowledge and accept these risks.
✔ SD Skateboarding is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or lost/stolen belongings.
✔ All participants (or parents/guardians for minors) must sign a Liability Waiver before attending any lessons or camps.
6. Intellectual Property
✔ All website content, including logos, videos, images, and text, is the intellectual property of SD Skateboarding and may not be copied or used without permission.
✔ Participants grant SD Skateboarding the right to use photos and videos taken during lessons and events for promotional purposes unless requested otherwise in writing.
7. Privacy & Data Protection
✔ We collect and store personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
✔ We do not sell or share personal data with third parties except as required for payment processing and service fulfillment.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SD Skateboarding:
✔ Disclaims all liability for injuries, damages, or losses resulting from participation in skateboarding activities.
✔ Is not responsible for third-party service failures, including payment processors and event partners.
9. Changes to Terms
✔ SD Skateboarding may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be handled in San Diego County, CA courts.
